Do I need to know how to work on a website to maintain mine?
No. After delivery you get access to the Blokix platform, where your site is edited visually: you click what you want to change and edit it right there. Changing a text, a photo or a price takes seconds, and publishing is one click. If you use Instagram, you can use Blokix.
What if I’d rather you make the changes?
No problem, but that service is charged separately. Editing it yourself on the Blokix platform has no extra cost; if you’d rather have our team make the changes, they are quoted based on the size of the tweak. Every plan includes WhatsApp support for usage questions.
How long does it take to have the site ready?
On average 20 business days from when you send the content (text, logo and photos). Simpler sites are ready in 7 to 10 business days.
Is the site mine? Can I take it with me?
The content and the domain are yours. The site runs on the Blokix platform and can only be edited through it. If you leave, we export your site’s files for you to host wherever you like, but without Blokix it no longer has the editor and any change depends on a developer or an agency.
Can I use a domain I already own?
Yes. You can use your own domain, but the site is hosted on the Blokix platform: we set up a redirect (DNS pointing) from your domain to the platform, with no downtime.
Is there a lock-in or cancellation fee?
No lock-in. The plan is monthly (or yearly with a discount) and you can cancel whenever you want, directly with us.
What exactly does the monthly fee cover?
Hosting of the site on the platform, SSL certificate, backups, security updates, the Blokix editor and WhatsApp support.
